Product Recall: Convertible High Chairs by Evenflo Company, Inc.

This recall involves high chairs that convert from the high chair to a toddler-size table and chair. The convertible high chair can be identified by the model names and numbers listed below. Model numbers are located on a label on the lower portion of one of the high chair's legs.

Recalled Items: Dottie Lime, Model Number 29111259 UPC 032884174041 and Marianna, Model Number 29111234 UPC 032884174218

Hazard:  The activity tray on the high chair can unexpectedly detach and allow an unrestrained child to fall, posing a risk of injury to the child. Evenflo has received 18 reports of trays that detached, including eight reports of children who fell from the high chair and sustained bumps and bruises. Health Canada has not received reports of incidents related to the use of these high chairs by Canadians.

What to do: Consumers with the recalled highchairs should immediately contact Evenflo for a replacement tray with installation and use instructions.

Units sold: Approximately 727 of the recalled Convertible High Chairs were sold in Canada.

The recalled products were sold from December 2011 to June 2012.
