Art Gallery of Ontario

Major changes are underway at the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO), one of North America’s finest art museums. The AGO is engaged in a major expansion of its facility. Designed by renowned Toronto native Frank Gehry – the architectural genius behind the Disney Concert Hall and the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao – the transformation includes a physical expansion of the Gallery by 97,000 square feet, the addition of more than 10,000 new works of art to the already vast collection and a 47 per cent increase in art viewing space. The AGO is open during construction, with a portion of its significant collections on view. The entire transformation project is expected to be complete in 2008. Due to the Transformation AGO construction project, gallery exhibits are constantly changing. For a comprehensive list of hours, ticket prices and what you can enjoy today at the AGO, please visit www.ago.net Ticket Purchase Information: Book online at www.ago.net or call 416-979-6608
