Kids are awestruck by the novelty of soaring to the top of a mountain and love to wave to the passengers in the opposing tram (which counterbalances yours). During the eight minute zip up, older children will want to know how high up you are (100 feet), how big the mountain is (4,180 feet tall), and how the first tram built in North America is different than a chair lift or a gondola (your operator will handle that one). Up top? Mountains, mountains everywhere—if you're blessed with a clear day, your eyes can roam to New York, Vermont, Maine, and Canada.
