An amazing place for babies, toddlers...and grown-ups! A huge hit my baby is the TotSpot, full of "squishy, shiny, tumbly and bubbly things to do". The bubble fish tanks are a hit every time! – Jen Love, Wee Welcome Mom

Together with your baby embark on an adventure of art and technology at play as you enter the Museum through the child or adult-sized doors. Your journey of discovery begins as the space explodes before your eyes revealing spheres punctuating a yellow wall, which extends four-storeys high. Steel beams, wooden floors and the original elevators offer a glimpse into the past life of the historic Goudies Department Store, which sat vacant for more than 15 years. Today, as light pours new life into the building through skylights and a glass façade, activity and energy abound.

Your journey continues through four floors of exhibits and activities designed to educate and amaze. Follow the progression of technology as you ascend the levels in the Museum, and challenge your creativity at every turn.

The Waterloo Regional Children’s Museum is an amazing place to spend the day or a few hours. Every month they feature a different theme and offer many activities to help you discover the world of art and technology at play .

They have a great website too at, where you can plan every detail of you very baby welcoming day!
